A SINGULR ACCIDENT
Charley Gibson Kicked in the Mouth at Georgetown
About three o'clock Sunday afternoon, as Charley (consider Charles a
spelling variant) and mother of Nashville were passing through Georgetown on
their way to Morgantown to visit relatives, Charley struck the horse a
sudden lash with the whip. The horse acknowledged the greeting with a
sudden lift of the hind feet, kicked over the dashboard of the buggy and
striking Charley on the chin and mouth.
Charley's mouth was mashed so badly that he was taken to Dr. Ward and the
injury attended.
