John Tash of Pekin, executor of the will of his brother, (Joseph Tash), has
contracted with H. W. Godfrey of Seymour, Indiana, for a large granite
monument at a cost of $600. The monument will be erected near Pekin about
October 1st, and for beauty and durability will excel anything in the way of
a monument now in Washington County. H. W. Godfrey's works is one of the
largest and most reliable in the state for making granite monuments. Anyone
wishing to purchase a granite monument will do well to write Mr. G. for
prices before purchasing elsewhere.
