MURDER AT SALEM, INDIANA-TIME MURDERER THREATENED WITH LYNCH LAW
Louisville, Ky., Monday, April 13-At Salem, Indiana, on Saturday night, a
ruffian named Henry Clark shot and fatally wounded George Tell, an old and
highly respectable citizen. Clark also shot a young man named Buena Vista
Dunbram. Clark has been arrested and put in jail. Great fears are
entertained that he will be taken out and hanged, such is the exasperation
of the people.
