William A. Waggoner of Bedford was drowned Sunday while taking a bath in
Salt Creek. He was taken with the cramps, and when he went down the third
time a skiff was within two feet of him, but the occupants were unable to
reach him in time to save him. The deceased was 24 years old and had a wife
and two children and was a member of the I. O. R. M.
