Mary, where did your James Walker come from? The father of my William S.
Walker was a William Walker of Virginia, born circa 1725 - he was "of"
Goochland County when he married Jane Burton "of" Louisa County. William
Walker had a son James from his previous marriage, but I have hardly
anything on him except through others researching this particular Walker
"bunch". I do have all the names of his children of the first marriage as
they were named in his Will, and of which I have a copy.

Antoinette,
Thank you for posting the complete obituary for your g-g-g-
grandfather. I also had Walker family members in Washington County
circa 1820-1850 but I do not see an obvious connection between my
James Walker (1757-1832) and your William S. Walker although James
Walker did also live in Kentucky (Clarke Co) prior to moving to
Washington Co, IN.
