ACCIDENTAL-Mr. William Greene, in the employ of Messrs. Johnson and Webster
at their foundry on Water Street, was at work at a drill press drilling a
casting on Monday. The casting slipped and in attempting to catch it, his
fingers became caught in some way so as to mash the second and third finger
of one hand. Fortunately, it was but the tips of the fingers, and he loses
but a portion of the end points of each.
