MARRIED
Married Wednesday, February 5, at the home of the bride's parents, six miles
south of this city, Mr. Cornie (difficult to read) W. Foster and Miss Effie
Betts. The wedding was a quiet affair, only the immediate relatives being
present. The Rev. Louis King, uncle of the groom, performed the ceremony.
The bride is a most estimable young lady while the groom is one of Clay
Township's most promising young farmers. After the ceremony, the happy
young couple retired to their newly made home furnished (illegible) of the
city. They received many presents, both elegant and useful. The bride is a
niece of Mrs. Lee Loy (illegible).
