JEFFERSONVILLE
Ernest Oliver, who resides at Seventh and Fulton streets in Jeffersonville,
came near severing the left hand from the wrist at the car works yesterday.
Oliver is a car builder and was using a keen-edged hatchet when, by some
mischance, he struck his wrist sinking the implement to the bone and
severing the arteries.
