Here's a link to a list of Indiana newspapers at the state library with a
guide to whether they are hard copy or microfilm:
http://www.in.gov/library/newspapers.htm
Didn't see any there for Unionville under Monroe County. Usually if a
newspaper is on microfilm, a local library can borrow the film for
in-library use.
I've had good searching on Google News, then clicking on Search Tools, Any
Time, Archives. Sometimes newspapers pick up interesting tidbits about
areas far from the occurence. A search for *seymour indiana regulators*
brings up articles from the 1860s as well as the 21st Century from a
variety of newspapers. I found the demise of a collateral ancestor in
Pennsylvania through a similar search using name and state and sometimes
adding the word *died* or *killed* to limit hits.

I just checked for any Unionville newspapers at Newspaper Archive and
found
none. Once the Monroe County papers are indexed, assuming they will be at
some point, one should be able to check Monroe County newspaper for the
words (Whatever) and (Unionville). I've worked with a lot of Monroe County
newspapers and I don't recall that there was one for Unionville that has
been preserved on microfilm. Check with the Indiana Room and the Monroe
County Public Library and/or the Indiana State Library to see what might be
available.

Randi, did the Monroe newspapers include a small one for Unionville?
Thanks.
