Oris Denbo of Illinois was called home on account of the death of his
brother, Roy

Ray Morey and sister, Miss Lillian, attended the funeral of Roy Denbo at
Newton Stewart, Sunday.

Roy Denbo, who has been sick 11 weeks, died at his home Friday, February 8,
1918, at ten o'clock. Roy was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Denbo. He
was born February 9, 1900, lacking one day of being 18 years old at his
death. He leaves a father, mother, half-sister, Mrs. Hazel Robins (consider
Robbins a spelling variant) of West Baden; three half-brothers, Oris Denbo
of Illinois; Orville and Jesse Denbo of Camp Taylor, Ky., three brothers at
home, James, Joseph and Paul; two sisters, Marie and Ruth; a number of
relatives and a host of friends to mourn their loss. Funeral was held at
the Union Church at Newton Stewart, Sunday, conducted by Rev. Cogswell of
Paoli. He was laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery by the side of his sister,
Halley, who died about two years ago.
