Brownstown (Jackson County, Indiana) Banner, Jul 2, 1885, p. 4.
Henry Rodman and Miss Frankie Cowling of this place were united in marriage
at the M. E. Church on Sunday evening by Rev. Thomas Harrison. Immediately
after the ceremony the newly wedded couple repaired to Ewing where the groom
had previously furnished in elegant style a room in Lycurgus L. Ewing's
resident where they will remain for the present and board in Mr. Ewing's
family. It is Mr. Rodman's intention to erect a residence at an early day
and so soon as it is completed he and his bride will take their first
experience in housekeeping.
The couple have the hearty good wishes of hosts of friends for a long life
of uninterrupted happiness and boundless prosperity. The groom is a
druggist engaged in business at Ewing and a worthy young gentleman, while
the bride is one of Brownstown's most handsome, amiable and estimable young
ladies.
