CAPTURED
William Martin of Corydon was arrested this noon by Marshal Hipple and
Officer Newhouse. Martin was gathered in on the charge of assault and
battery with intent to kill on a man in Corydon. It will be remembered that
a deputy sheriff from Corydon was here a few days ago looking for Martin but
returned without him. Martin's brother, who was with him at the time of the
arrest, was also locked up, although it is not supposed that he is wanted.
Corydon officials were telegraphed to and will arrive on the first train.
