Is it stricklyWrecks or wagons, cars and such, I have several? I have the
account from the newspaper of his death. Every bone in his body was broken but
oddly enough he had his glasses and comb and 57 cents still in his pockets
unbroken.

George Riley Clendenin was a dapper small framed redheaded Irishman, who
played the fife and loved to dance. The last night of his life he was happily
playing his fife with others of a small band of musicians who were part of a
political rally around the square in Bedford. Later that night as he was walking
down the railroad tracks toward home and a bit full of the drink, he was killed
by the Monon train. This was a normal walking route for the towns people.
