I know very little about this man, Nelson Armstrong IRVINE, and hope
someone knows more. He was from Hogestown, Cumberland County, PA. In
addition, he attended the Union Seminary, New Berlin, Union County, PA
around 1880. It was there that he was in the Commercial Class and
studied music.
At some point he moved to Cass County, IN, and he was a timekeeper for the RR.
They also lived in Indianapolis.
His wife was Lulu E. (last name unknown). They had one son, William Clemens IRVINE.
Did they have other children?
Nelson was born in 1860
Lulu in 1864
William in 1894
Thanks,
Sid
