There is a Pennsylvania Railroad Historical Society. I don't know that they
have the type of organization to preserve a great volume of old records,
although the individual members may have some. I may know someone to ask.
Penn Central probably didn't hold on to it. I can't recall the name of the
successor company to Penn Central. It's not a railroad company and would no
longer have any interest in such records.

Phil,
Thanks very much. I sincerely appreciate your help. I wonder if
personell records for the Pennsy are available somewhere. I know they
went
into bankruptcy around 1970, but their records might be with an
historical
society or library.
