Marita;
I have not read the book but it sounds like something I should do. Thanks.

Don, Did you read the book? I read the book (definitely a
man's book but
wonderful) and now I'm afraid to see the movie, afraid I'll be very
disappointed. Marita

> Yesterday I went to the theater and watched the movie Cold Mountain. I
thought this Hollywood production presented an interesting view of the
proper and not so proper lifestyles of the south. And also a good insight of
what life was all about on the home front during the Civil War. Has anyone
else seen the movie and if so what are your thoughts? I am glad I saw it and
I recommend it as long as one keeps in mind that it is a Hollywood
production created to make a profit and not necessarily tell the facts
accurately.
