The 152nd wasn't even around in 1864. Are you sure of the regiment and
dates??
"152nd REGIMENT INFANTRY.
Organized at Indianapolis, Ind., and mustered in March 16, 1865. Left
State for Harper's Ferry, W. Va., March 18. Duty at Charleston,
Stevenson's Station, Summit Point and Clarksburg, W. Va., till August.
Mustered out August 30, 1865. Lost during service 49 by disease."

Without looking at the muster in date of the 152nd IN, I would
imagine the regiment reenlisted for another three years and at
that time, the entire regiment received a furlough of 30 days,
thus allowing the brothers to go together.

the family? I thind they had a little (6 years old in 1860)
die during the Civil War but can't find him in any death records.
