I don't know if they used divisions then. If you go to
http://www.civilwar.nps.gov/cwss/soldiers.cfm
you can type in Samuel Barrick's name, and list Indiana as the state, and see he was
in the 63rd Regiment. If you click on the 63rd Regiment, it pulls up a history of
everything the regiment did.
Have you ordered his pension files? There should be some clue as to where he's buried.
Ancestry's Civil War Pension Index shows that he applied for an invalid pension, and
Sarah for a widow's pension. The copy of the card is so poor that it can't be
read, but you should be able to order the file without it.
