-Hello
I have a document, that was written from Henry J. Wiggs to Joseph W. Wiggs which was his
son. This document was written in Jan 1913 in Winslow Indiana, Has been in my family for
generations. He talks briefly his service days about the southern slave owners and the
fight between north and south, the he goes on to talk about his family. One of his
children is my grandfather.
He also talks about Alexander M. Wiggs, he served as a justices of peace during two terms,
of 4 years each, was elected to state 4 years covering sessions of 1891-1893 and served
three years in the union army.
George W. Wiggs was a blacksmith and served between 1863-1865. Benijamin F. Wiggs served
between Aug 29 1862 to October 12 1862, which I find to be odd because did he get out? or
Die?. If you have any more information, pictures or documents, please share them with me,
This is my generation of family.
