Penny
I found Andrew J Copton on
footnote.com.
I can send sheets to your address below. His wife Nancy A Compton, applied for a
widow's pension. It states that he had "no children
. He died at Indianapolis, IN April 19 1863 of "typhoid pneumonia".
Let me know if you receive the pension file.

I sent this info in a long with a few question to pin point Andrew
and his
brother George, both died in the war lacking three days of being a year
apart. I don't know why you did not receive my email, I sent in two about
four weeks apart. I cleaned out a lot of old emails a few days ago and I
was unable to find the copy I had so it must have been deleted. I haven't
written to this site in years, but Mark helped me a long time ago that is why
I was asking who should I write to, to get help?

I only saw one saying "How do I find the site for Civil War questions"....I
think you need to be more specific as to what questions you have.
Try it again. :-)
