I couldn't Solomon on the 1880 census. Could he have taken Mary to Ind to be buried?
there were Watsons in Jackson County Ind on the 1880 census:
Eliza Watson, Redding 1820
Lettie, Seyour, 1858
Birdie , 1865
Sarah 1845
John 1850
Charles 1871
Violetta 1858
Elizabeth 1832
1880 Jackson Cty Ind; Redding
317 327 Watson, Eliza 60, Ind/ky/Ky
Pasley, Susan 14 adopted dau
Pasly, Frank 20 adopted son
(could this Eliza be sister in law to Solomon)
there was a Simeon Watson, born NC, on the 150 Morgan Ind census and he is still living in
1880 also in Morgan, listed as 67, could he be brother to your Solomon? I'm not
familar with the counties in Ind, but how close is Morgan to Jackson?
Bernice
