I am hoping someone who lives in the area can help me with a head stone
photo request...well, any of the same surname actually...since the few
buried here are likely all related and I wish to try and preserve whatever
information may still be readable.
JOHN H. KING born: 03 October 1813 Pennsylvania (possible Franklin Co) died:
05 December 1899 Muncie, Delaware Co. Indiana
At the time of his death, he was married to his 2nd wife, MARY PARSONS. His
obituary indicates burial near the town of Windsor in the cemetery then
known as Clevenger.
I'm hoping someone, by luck or chance...might live near the cemetery where
John H. King and several other family members are buried. The cemetery is
also known as SWINGLEY. Suppose to be located about 1 1/2 miles southeast of
Windsor off of Base road? In Stoney Creek Township.
I am interested in locating either a contact/caretaker who might have burial
records or better yet? someone who could take photo's of the headstones (if
any left) I had planned a trip to Indiana to do all this myself but a health
issue now prevents it. I appreciate anyone who'd be inclined or takes an
interest. Stacey
