I'm sorry if you feel that I'm arguing, but your information is inaccurate and I
don't want people to get confused. This is a forum where we should all be checking our
facts before posting information.
The town that you describe:
"on the way to Lafayette is on 1100 East north of 200 South. There is a small
cemetery with a church on 1100 East."
Is PETTIT, Indiana, not Oxford. Pettit does appear on most state maps. Just outside of
Pettit there is an Oxford Church and Oxford Cemetery (as I stated in a previous post), but
the town that you are driving through is the town of Pettit.
Find A Grave lists Oxford Cemetery with a map displaying it's location just outside of
the town of Pettit at 1100 East, just north of 200 South:

The following are cemeteries listed for Oxford, Indiana, all located in Benton County:
-Justus Cemetery (south of town)

-McConnell Cemetery (south of town)

-Oxford Catholic Cemetery (south of town)
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2193410&CSc...
-Oxford Cemetery (west of town)
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=86318&CScnt...
-West Cemetery (this appears to be the same cemetery as Oxford Cemetery)

Find A Grave is a wonderful resource for locating cemeteries. For most cemeteries the list
includes a map showing the exact location of a cemetery. The maps are powered by Google
maps, which are now detailed enough that if you switch the map to Satellite view you can
see the stones in the cemetery (they also have most cemeteries labeled on the maps if you
zoom in far enough). For anyone looking for a particular cemetery I highly recommend
checking this site. You may search for specific burials or you may search for cemeteries
by name or by location.
Hopefully this information will answer everyone's questions and we can let it go at
that.
