William H. Eckard was inducted into the Union army from Indiana,
and is purported to be buried in Indiana. His mother was Mary Cross.

I visited the St. John Cemetery in Pulaski County, Indiana this past
Sunday and photographed about 70 grave markers. As I type this note,
I am uploading the images to my freepages site on rootsweb. Perhaps
you'll find your ancestor or relative here. The cemetery was
established in 1862 and is in very good condition.

Where known, I've listed married females by their maiden names. So,
