Hi Jan B,
I'd like to hear more about "composite" headstones. What are they made of?
How long do they last?
I tried a search engine, but didn't come up with anything useful. There was
one site that talked about using fiberglass & cement to make headstones, but
that certainly can't be what you meant as that wouldn't last any time at all.
A high quality granite headstone can last thousands of years and really
should be still legible many hundreds of years from now.

{...} We discovered something else also. You can only purchase granite
stones here, you cannot get the new composite stones that last practically
forever. This is also disturbing to me as we all know that granite does not hold
up for as long as we would like.
Jan B.
