I wanted to tell you that my husband made a mailbox for our house and it
was
stainless steel, yep stainless steel thinking that no one would run it over
or bend it, it was not the case he worked so hard on this and someone
hauled
it off in the middle of the night in concrete, so you see anything they
want
they can just pull it off. i wonder about the crap going on these days so
its
not only the vases its everything even mailboxes. the one i make is 5.00 so
if they remove it, its only plastic. Mrs. V
Well, in regard to the mail boxes. I was getting mail stolen out of my, at
end of lane, mail box plus getting it demolish or just plain taken away.
What I have done is get a Post Office Box at the Post Office and for many
yrs. I have traveled to the Post Office to get my very important mail that no
one can get to other than me or my son. It is not a combination but a key
lock postal box so that only a key opens the box with my number on it.
I have told this to all my friends that complain about mail boxes and they
thought that a fantastic idea, and have done so. Mail can be picked up daily,
two or three times a wk or once a wk and is also safe when you go on
vacation. Beej in AZ.
