I live near Holy Cross/Calvary, so I called them to see if the Vets are
buried together and they are NOT. When it gets warmer I could check to see
if a plot for the Judge family exists. He may be in the area. Do you have
James Judge death date? Bob

I am looking for my great great grandfather James Judge,
who my mother's family says was a Civil War veteran, and is buried at St.
Joseph's. The cemetery says the records for the time period around 1873-1874
were lost in a fire - so they cannot tell me if or where he might be buried
at St. Joseph's.
I have not been able to find a record which matches his
in th civil war pension files.
I received a death certificate from Marion Co. for a James Judge which is
close to the time when we know he died however all it says for burial is
"Catholic yard".
Is there a military section in St. Joseph's?
