Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Why are there people who want to quit the new list? It seems to me that whoever started it had a good idea. I wish everyone that had a listing of any cemetery in the state ( OR ANY STATE FOR THAT MATTER ) would volunteer to do lookups for their list.
I have a list of the Bethesda Cemetery in Hendricks county. But I also am researching in Jennings and Jefferson County. Maybe someone in that area will help also.

Don't unsub!
I believe Mr. Scott meant that HE only did Huntington Co. look ups. NOT that
the list is only Huntington Co. lookups. Scroll down for Original message.
I will do Lake Co. IN lookups if the snow ever clears!!!!!!!! Ha ha!!

Mike Philips, I am in Boone County (Zionsville). I don't have any lists (I'm
new to this) but I will be happy to locate for you if you have name/location.
Gail Heeb
I live in Zionsville IN and would be happy to try to help anyone in locating
a tombstone in the vicinity. Also the Indianapolis northside area, within
reason.
Mike, although I don't think any of my WAUGHTEL bunch made it to Hendricks,
would you please check your listing for that surname? Thanks a bunch.

Well, Mike - the way I have been reading this is that although it is IN
cemeteries list and a person comes on and says I have such and such a book
for such and such a county and/or cemetery and volunteers to do the look up,
too many people think that it should cover all - well actually it does, they
don't stop to think that this one person just volunteered to do lookups from
the info he/she had. Toooooo many people are in tooooo big of a hurry and
don't take time to read and/or absorb what they read before jumping the gun,
so to speak. My thoughts on the subject, only. Don't get discouraged -
someone might come up with "your" cemetery. Rome was not built in a day!!!!
<grin>
Even if a list comes on new or a cemetery is shown with a listing, I check
the listing. I have too many "lost" persons and how do I know he/she is not
buried in "that" cemetery. I have too many counties and too many cemeteries
in Indiana to research in and so don't want to pass up any.

My understanding was this was a list for all Indiana Cemeteries. I have
a set of the Cemeteries for Sullivan Co., IN and several other counties
and I will be happy to do look ups for anyone. When a request is posted
I check to see if I have that area and if not I hope someone else has the
data. That's the name of this game, Help one another. If you want to go
out on your own, your in big trouble or you expect to live longer then
me.

Hi
I looking for the grave of William Smith born Va . His family lived in
Cortland Jackson Co and then Jonesville Bartholomew Co.
I think he was died by 1880 but will check out any Wm Smith buried in
Cortland . Who knows maybe he split and his wife said she was a widow.
His son was born March 1878 so I am looking for 1877 to 1880 . If there are
any other Smith listed in the cemetery records maybe that would give me a
lead as William maybe his middle name. Thanks for anyhelp you can give me.
Also my ggg-grandmtoher was listed as a widow her name was Mary J DAVIS .
Thanks again Rose
sorry I do only Huntington County Indiana
