Angela Faye Pfister

Angela Faye Pfister, 64, died December 16, 2017, at Wabash Christian Village
in Carmi, Illinois, after a long battle with Early Onset Alzheimer's
Disease. She was born August 4, 1953, in Princeton, Indiana, the daughter of
Ed Lytle and Mary Janice (Barrett) Whetstone. Although Angie lived in
several places over the years, Carmi, was always home. She was a loving and
devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Angie was a devoted wife
to Michael G. Pfister, to whom she was married for 45 years.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Janice Whetstone of Carmi; brother Ray
Lytle of Savannah, Georgia; sisters Jane (Lynn) Simmons and Tonya (Kelley)
Vaupel, all of Carmi; daughters Mendi (Tony) Strahanoski of Lockport,
Illinois, Holly (Chris) Lancaster of West Union City, Illinois, Amy (Tony)
Stephen of Lockport; grandchildren John, Zach, Noah, Grace, Keesha, Kayla,
Michael, Alaina, Allyson, and Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ed Lytle; and infant brother Max
Visitation and funeral are Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Cook Funeral
Chapel in Carmi. Visitation is 10 am to 12 noon, with funeral at noon.
Burial is in St. Polycarp Cemetery in Carmi. The family thanks Wabash
Christian Village for the care and support they provided to Angie.
