William Edward Fann

William Edward Fann, 68, of Du Quoin, passed away at 5:25 P.M., Sunday, February 21,
2010 at his residence.
Bill had worked as a machinist for Caterpillar Tractor Company for thirty years and
retired in 1996. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of UAW.
He was born April 17, 1941 at Du Quoin, IL, the son of William Isaac and Juanita
He married Dorothy A. Scronce on August 25, 1962 at Du Quoin, IL and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Du Quoin, three sons - Nolan Fann, Les Fann, and
William D. Fann, all of Du Quoin, his mother - Juanita Fann of Centralia, four sisters -
Carrie Fann of Carterville, Vickie Such of Centralia, Janice Fann of Centralia, and
Shirley Hood of Pennsylvania, one brother - Larry Fann of Maine, eight grandchildren -
Kyleena Taylor, Sallie Campbell, Jamie Fann, all of Delavan, Leslie Fann, Dylan Fann,
Katelyn Fann, Daniel Freeman, all of Du Quoin, and Jeffrey Fann of Bloomington, IL, and
two great grandchildren - William Campbell and Hazel Campbell, both of Delavan
He was preceded in death by his father, four sisters, one brother, and two nieces.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Old Du
Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin with Rev. C.L. McKinnies officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Friends may make memorials to TIP Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
