Donna June (Moak) Goodwin, 74, formerly of Pinckneyville, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Monday,
June 21, 2010, in Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
Donna was born June 4, 1936 in Pinckneyville, a daughter to William and Hattie (Smith)
On Sept. 8, 1957, she married Edward L. Goodwin in Melbourne, Fla., and he preceded her in
death Jan. 5, 1983.
She was a member of Winkle Baptist Church in Winkle and had retired from Quality Control
at Spartan Lite Metals after 20 years of service. Donna dearly loved taking care of and
playing with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Scott (Carol) Goodwin of Bremen; two daughters, Lori Goodwin of
Trenton and Jill (Doug) Jackson of Coulterville; a sister, Jean Kalb of Troy; three
grandchildren, Adam Goodwin, Kole Jackson and Kade Jackson; and numerous nieces, nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Theo King, Faye
Koenigstein and Elaine Folden; and one brother, Wil-liam Moak Jr.
Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, in Pyatt Funeral Home in
Coulterville, with Jeff Downard officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Thursday at the funeral home.
