I've had a lot of luck getting extra information from the obits in the
Dixon paper. I do believe that the Genealogical Society now has all of
the Dixon paper on microfilm. I'd start there. I know the library has
them all but unless you have an exact date (they do have most everything
indexed)I don't know if they can help (I went to the library and
searched all of my own).I don't know how far back the death records go
at the Court House.

Could someone please tell me where to write for a death record. Jane
(Dodge) Mead died in Dixon in 1872. Would such a record reveal who her
parents were? Thankyou.
