Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Has anyone found a marriage record for Lineus Richmond, born 1801, and Sarah PICKEREL (PICKREL, PICKERELL), born 1810? Mary, their first child, was born May 1827. They lived in Jackson Co. till about 1834 when they moved to Knox Co., Illinois. Lineus first appears on the census in 1830. . After 20 years, I am still trying to prove who Lineus RICHMOND’s parents are. He was born about 4 Oct 1802 in Connecticut. The New Milford, Litchfield County, Connecticut Vital Record have recorded births for Roswell, Nathaniel, Edmund, Seth, Guy and David sons of Edmund and Huldah Frisbie Richmond but not one for Lineus. He married Sarah PICKREL. In 1834, he left Jackson Co., Ohio for Knox Co., Illinois. He died 10 Dec 1887 in Knox Co., Illinois. I am still trying to prove who John Stinson's parents are. He was born 1799/1800 in PA. He married Hannah Cunningham on 2 Jan. 1823 in Muskingum Co., OH. His family was in the 1850 census in Knox Co, IL. Their children are Elizabeth, William, Mary, Rosana, John, Virginia, and James. In 1860 the family was in Bourbon Co. KS. They were living in Putnam Co., MO on the 1870 census. He died after 13 Sept 1870 and before 5 June 1880. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me. teacups3(a)yahoo.com
