Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Andrew Jackson Harley was born in Roseburg, Oregon. His parents part of the Oregon Trail Pioneers who reversed their course and returned from Eugene, OR to Bruneau Valley to make their home. Andrew married Margaret Black, the firt wedding in Bruneau. Their daughter was Rosalind Elizabeth Harley who married James Dunbar Pence, also of Bruneau Valley. The both the Pence Family and the Harley Family lost their homes when they were inundated as the Strike Dam was developed.They lost their family holdings and homesteads in perpetuity. Rosalind and James Pence left Burneau Valley and made their home in Buhl, ID where they raised four sons: James William, Theodore, Jerome and Dallas Thurston.
