Also, for those who are not on our IDGenWeb Facebook, we seems to be getting
many good discussions and links. One I would like to share with you is about
the Old Bonner County Poor Farm (
http://www.poorhousestory.com/poorhouses_in_idaho.htm). This is very
interesting history, yet it a part of our history we often don't think about
what our ancestor had gone through in their lives. Did ya'll know that
genealogy got started by an American historian named John Farmer from
Massachuetts. Read this interesting article about it ...

an-when/article_f1017866-a69a-11e1-ac10-001a4bcf887a.html
.
Well, don't forget to share what you have done to your website and what
successes you are getting from it. Thanks Reba for sharing your work of
adding the 1940 U.S. Census to your website. It is great that we would add
some interesting piece of our American history to our websites.
All is well, in my neck of the woods while my wife is slowly recovering.
She still not herself yet but I think it will take time. Thanks to those who
sent their prayers and well-wishes. It is greatly appreciated. I am now on
the run-down leg of my graduate term and have another research essay to
complete. I think that before the summer over I will got back to the
traditional college setting rather than doing these online classes. It seems
to take too much time to work on. Where if go to the classroom I can at
least take part in some normal "verbal" discussion rather than online
discussions from something I have read that week (which is one whole book in
most cases). Sorry I don't read that fast anymore since my blindness does
scan words the quickly anymore. LOL.
Have a great weekend ya'll,
Matt Friend
