Hi Idahoans,
Another week has pass and it's time for our weekly roll call for those who
hasn't sign in last week. Thanks to Scot for starting our month off with a
bang! Earlier I've send out some message about the 1940 state census maps.
These maps were used to keep track of where they've enumerated. One added
benefit in this census enumeration is the added (x) next to the person's
name who gave the information to the enumerator. Unlike the past census we
often wonder who gave these information.
In effort to our part in the 150th anniversary of Idaho's Territorial Days.
We would like to compile a page on the IDGenWeb Project of all the records
and history available of that era. If you would like to help out or add to
this, please contact Sharon McConnel so she can prepare these pages for our
website.
Another items of was sent to you in private emails in regards to our
upcoming renewal of our hosting and domain name. If you wish to help out
and contribute a small donation. Please let me know so that whatever cost
left over can be account for. We have a few of you who sent us your
contribution.
Well, all is well in my neck of the woods since many tornadoes has been
swirling about me.My prayers goes to those who were hit the hardest. I hope
all is well in Idaho and other places. God bless you and your family, and
be safe.
Have a great weekend,
Matt
