Sounds like you're having a great day than Scot! <LOL> Yes, I agree with
you for I know everything about my parents but like you said, it's fun to
see them in the censuses. I never found my mother in the 1930 as she was
born in 1928 and her existence was there just not sure where she might have
been. As for my father, well, he was born in 1932 and it'll be the first
time to see him there in the census. They should be in Yuciapa, California.
My mother would be a teeny then. <LOL>
Well, I can't wait for I have other parts of my family that I need to make
some right connections.

i'll enjoy looking at the 1940 census, but i don't need it for my
research. my parents were born in 1920 & 1922, & they told me all the info
i needed, so i really started using the pre-1890 censuses. still, it was
fun to see my parents listed as children on the 1930 census!

Subject: [IDGENWEB] 1940 Census
Hi Everyone,
I am forwarding this from another list I am on. I made sure to bookmark it.
Once you get there, there is a video you can watch. But then you can
click on
the archives link as well and it brings up more information.
Hope everyone has a great day! We are getting 30-40 mph winds and rain
today,
so hope I don't blow away. Darn. . . I can't go fishing! LOL

Census.
This is the only place you will find this Census on April 2, 2012, the
release
date. It will be months before they appear on other web sites. However, on
April
2 you have to slog through. Later they will be indexed and online. In other
years this has taken years. The 1930 census took under a year. They hope
the
1940 census will be available by the end of summer. It really depends on
how
many people volunteer to index and how much time each can give.
