To those who receive more than one copy of this: Please excuse me. I needed to make sure
everyone effected got at least one.
To those who have been bombarded with this mess and just want to get back to what you
were doing: Please excuse us. We're almost finished.
To Ray: Please accept our apologies for dragging you into the middle of this mess.
It's
a poor way to repay you for your generosity in donating all those files to the Idaho
archives.
To whom it may concern: That is enough! I am tired of Idaho being
caught in the middle. We have spent too much time and effort to let all this nonsense
cripple or destroy IDGenWeb!
To Linda: I have carefully read all the guidelines for archive file managers as you
suggested. Jerry Dill has not violated any of them. The agreement we made a couple of
months ago, that he could remain Idaho's file manager as long as he continued to
follow
those rules, is still in effect. Whoever you "replaced" him with has not
contacted the
people who own the copyrighted files, the IDGenWeb volunteers, or me. Since there is no
rule that says a state's archive files must be located at a specific place, the Idaho
volunteers will decide where we want our files.
To the Board. How did we get from an Advisory Board who requested that volunteers change
their links from the old national site to the official .org and .net sites, to a demand
that all links on every page, everywhere, must be removed if they point to any page, of
any kind, anywhere on the politically incorrect domain, no exceptions?
To the Board again. County Coordinators have always chosen the location for their pages.
That choice has never been up to the NC, the SCs, or anyone else. As long as the county
web sites are within the suggested guidelines, I will not remove them from IDGenWeb.
To the person who represents Idaho on the board. (Whoever you are.) Thank you for all the
support, advice, and help you've been during these difficult days. (Yes, sarcasm.)
To the nasty little spies who have visited IDGenWeb with the sole purpose of finding
fault. Get out and stay out.
