Only in sharing a ballot.
Essentially, here's how I'm told the ballots will work (and if you need
more technical answers, you need to ask Dale Schneider, who's running
the election software.):
Everybody gets one ballot at the national level. On this ballot will be
voting for NC and on the bylaws. One person, one vote, regardless of
number of sites hosted.
SC's/ASC's will get an additional ballot, for SC representative. Should
they be SC/ASC of more than one state, **and those states be in
different regions**, they will get a ballot for each *region* that they
are an SC/ASC in.
CC's (including people who are both SC and CC) will get a similar
ballot, on which they will be able to vote for CC representative for
their regions. We're increasing the number of CC reps per region to
two, but I don't know if the election committee has decided whether to
take the top two vote getters from a "one vote per cc" or allow folks to
vote for two reps. Once again, a county coordinator will get one ballot
for each **region** that they host counties in.
Once we put the bylaws on the ballot, this board is done with them. It
will be the new board who will learn whether they have to start from
scratch or have bylaws to work with already in place.

are the elections for the board and the
vote on the bylaws tied together in any way?
