Hi folks,
A couple of weeks ago I added a form for comments and suggestions to the
state web site. Maybe you noticed? Today someone actually used it. Ooooh
Chris Brady from the Idaho State Historical Society tells me there is now a
complete listing of all cemetery records held by the Idaho State Historical
Library on their web site. I looked and I think it would be helpful for
researchers if we all included a link to that list on our county pages.
You can find it at

Elaine,
Thanks for forwarding the message from the ISHL about the Cemetery Records.
The folks at the ISHL (Genealogy) are doing a great job putting together
info. about the collections. I know that much more is on the way, so
everyone on the list should keep their eye on the postings.
I want to point out one important page that I put together several years
ago for the previous GENEALOGY IDAHO; that is, a listing of Directories in
the Genealogical and Historical Collection. The page URL is: Directories,
City-County- Regional <
http://home.rmci.net/dyingst/director.htm>.
There are a number of other resources listed in Donovan's GENEALOGY IDAHO
CONTENTS <
http://home.rmci.net/dyingst/contents.htm> that may prove useful
to some folks. Much of what I present for the GENEALOGICAL COLLECTION will
very likely will eventually be updated and superceded; in the meantime,
make use of it as needed.
