Hi,
Something different for the All-L list.
For those of you who do your own HTML, don't forget to place the 'META'
tags 'keywords' list into your 'HEAD' area.
That way when the robots form Lycos, Alta Vista etc come looking, they will
place you under the correct subject for their search engines. (This is
optional mind you) but -- it will net you more hits in the long run.
An example of the code follows:
<HEAD>
<TITLE>(THE NAME OF YOUR PAGE GOES HERE</TITLE>
<META Name="description" Content="Genealogy Information for public
use">
<META Name="keywords" Content="Genealogy, relatives, family, ancestors,
gedcom, census, oral history">
</HEAD>
Use whatever words you can think of in the [<META Name="keywords"]
statement. Just remember to spell correctly and put a coma after each word
except the last.
Happy Genealogy
