Good Day Idahoans!
Another week has past and it’s roll call day. If you haven’t done so for
the month of November, do so now. The sooner your presents are known the
less we see of these emails. <smile>
I hoped that all is well in your neck of the woods. It’s getting cooler
here but spurts of warm air for a day or so. Nonetheless, we’ll be heading
into the winter season before too long. I’ve been busy this week with my
first week of graduate program. I’m taking mostly history classes, of
course, that’s all I’ll be taking since my major will be in history.
<smile> This week has been introduction week and a few reading assignment
for next week. I’m taking a women’s history class. If you have any books,
journals, diary of your Idahoans pioneering women, I would love to read
about their experience of life in their time. Any good Idahoan Women's
history reading?
I haven’t done much with the website for it’s been quiet. We’ve had a
couple of IDGenweb patrons join our facebook group. Nice people! If you
haven’t joined our facebook group we could use your support. (URL:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/idgenweb/) I will be adding some more to
the Idaho Archives this weekend, most likely. There will be some new items
for Ada, Alturas, Blaine, Boise, Gem and Gooding counties, these will be
adding by Sunday in the evening or sooner. Keep in mind to use our archives
as a backup of your data. Folks don’t forget to use our mailing list for
help from the others. Of course, I am here too. <grin>
Well I hope you all have a great weekend and thanks for your support.
