Clearwater County checking in.
Thanks, Matt, for helping out with the banners and pine cones as I get up
and running.
Hello, to Everyone! I have been working on my family genealogy for about 34
years (started when I was a teenager). My Idaho ties are: Idaho, Nez Perce,
and Clearwater Counties.
I am married and have two grown children, Brian and Sarah, and two furry
"children", Cascade and Cinnabar. The furry ones are Rat Terriers named for
the ghost towns in Valley County. My husband was born in Cascade, but grew
up in Grangeville. We love to go camping and fishing at Yellow Pine and
vicinity.
Hope everyone has a great 4th!

Subject: [IDGENWEB] July 2011 - Roll Call
Date: Fri, 1 Jul 2011 13:22:33 -0500
Hi folks,
It’s the first Friday of the a new month. I figure to start our roll call
for the month with a holiday greeting. Happy 4th of July, everyone!
Whatever
you do over this weekend just keep it safe and enjoyable whomever you’re
with. May God watch over you and your family and friends.
All is well in my neck of the woods for Ada and Blaine counties as well as
the state. I have been trying to keep you posted whenever things need to be
told. I hope you are all getting my email. I know it has been quiet the
past
few weeks. We received some messages from the national level. One of
important … national election. If you haven’t gotten your password, here’s
the info and link below:
To obtain your password to vote, go to
http://www.usgwelections.org/USGenWeb/GetVoterPassword.cfm and follow the
instructions. Your voter password will be emailed to you.
Next, our State election will be in the middle of August. If you want to
run
for State Coordinator than you need to post your nomination on nomination
week, then campaign week, and finally the election among our team members.
More details will be posted later.
I would like to welcome two new county coordinators, Jill Nock (Clearwater
Co.) and Reba McMillan (Boise Co.). Thanks ladies for your help and
support.
We’re glad you have joined the IDGenWeb Project Team.
We still have more counties that are up for adoption, but if you can help
with any let me know. I have posted on the county’s messageboard on
Rootsweb
but I know it is summertime. I hope and pray for those counties to be
filled
by the end of the year.
Before I forget, Rootsweb have been having trouble with their spam system
for many of you have complaint about your email bouncing from their
system’s
mailing list. They suggest that if that occurred to re-submit, but if
persist to contact them to resolve the issue with their system.
Well, my family have nothing going for the weekend, just a simple family
BBQ
and get together. I have been busy trying to work on more of the IDGenWeb
Project, especially the revamped Idaho Military Project. I hoped to launch
that soon.
Have a great 4th of July,
Matt Friend
Acting State Coordinator
