One last note on this topic. If another CC had left those things you have on
your site. You want to update or refresh the pages. That is fine! Just give
credit where credit is due. Another word, put the former CC's name as if it
was the original source and then your name as the updated source.

since Rootsweb merge with Ancestry it cause the 'free genealogy' world to go
AWOL on each other these past few years. Although, this is a free world to
put online what is rightfully theirs, is fine by me BUT ... it's not when
some use original stuff and just copy and paste it to another site.
If some of you have such things on another genealogy website. PLEASE,
please make your other stuff unique for that site and keep your GenWeb
Project its own. All the things we add are public domain but the web
designs, formats, etc., etc., etc. are your own copyrighted stuff.
I know we all need to help spread out some free genealogy resources but
make thing your own on different sites.
Again, this is informative information. Do with is as you will.
