Subject: [STATE-COORD-L] Wyoming Wind River Project
Dear SCs, ASCs, and USGenWeb Project Webmasters:
Inspired by the great job being done at the Oklahoma Indian Territory
websites, Wyoming has started our Wyoming Wind River Project.
The website is dedicated to the Native Americans living in Wyoming,
particularly at the Wind River Indian Reservation.
For all intents and purposes, the Wind River is a new "county" in Wyoming.
So far, we've had some wonderful volunteers to get the website up and
running. Nadine Hensley is an old-timer for the WyomingGenWeb, hosting
Washakie and Hot Springs counties also. Theresa Ryder, with Native American
roots, has agreed to be the Shoshone coordinator. We are still looking for
an Arapahoe coordinator, and coordinators for any other tribal members in
Wyoming who wish their Nations represented.
**** For all of those who maintain links to Wyoming State pages, we would
appreciate it if you added the Wind River as a separate "county" and link.

Nadine and Theresa just got the bare bones of the website up today, so we
just getting started. In a few months, I'm sure that you will
find this an
excellent resource for Native American genealogy. I know it! Because I've
got some of the best coordinators in the USGenWeb! IMHO :o))
