To all IDGenWeb volunteers,
I've really enjoyed being the State Coordinator for this project the past
41/2 years. However, the time has come to turn the task over to someone
else. I'm not leaving, really, I still have three counties. I'll be
available to answer any questions the new SC may have.
The USGenWeb bylaws require an election to choose a new SC. The details of
the election are left to the state. Here are my thoughts:
1. A three person committee to whom all nominations and votes are sent
simultaneously.
2. A two week nomination or volunteer period.
3. A seven day voting period.
4. The committee counts the votes (no chads please!), and announces the
results within 24 hours of the close of polling.
