Hi everyone, I am still waiting to hear back from Elaine, so I am being a
bit presumptuous by taking the reigns but for now we should just tend to
business.
First thing I need to announce is that Rhonda has offered to be the
assistant State Coordinator. She has also volunteered to be CC for
Bonneville.
Thanks a million Rhonda.
I guess it would be a good time to ask for a roll call.
For a couple of reasons. First the National elections are coming up soon and
we need to get our list of CCs in to the election committee. I will post
their letter at the bottom.
Elaine sent us a letter a while back with a list of CC's. I will also paste
it to this letter. Wow Idaho has allot of Counties 48 plus the Raservation.
If you have already responded to the list in the past few days there is no
need to respond to the roll call.
The other thing this will do is it will help me to know if there are
addresses not working or out of date. If any of you have suggestions or
comments on how we can improve things please let us know.
Sincerely Doug Neibaur

From Election Committee
Hello,
My name is LaRae Halsey-Brooks and I am a member of the new USGenWeb Project
Election Committee. As you know, the USGenWeb election is just a few months
away. Our task is to coordinate the election process, and to this end we
are contacting all State Coordinators to seek their much-needed cooperation.
This preparation requires that we obtain, for each state, a voter
roll/membership list. As State Coordinator your help in obtaining this
list
is key to a successful election. We know you are busy, so our request is
designed to be as time-efficient as possible while obtaining the needed
information.
Briefly stated, we need a list of all of the volunteers in your state (your
county coordinators, co-county coordinators, special project coordinators,
etc.) While we prefer a spreadsheet, the data may be submitted in tables or
plain format, whichever is convenient for you. Please send the list to me
as
an attachment.
Who is an eligible volunteer? The Project's By-laws state that every
volunteer is eligible to vote (excluding transcribers and lookup people). If
you have any questions about a particular volunteer please let me know.
The information the Election Committee needs for each volunteer is:
1. Name
2. E-mail address
3. County or Special Project where the volunteer works
4. Title
5. Any comment or question you wish to make on/about this individual or
county.
If you have counties that are up for adoption or if you are short any
information on a county or individual, please note that in the comment
section or add it at the bottom or include it in your e-mail. I can add the
information later.
If it is at all possible we would like to have your list no later than March
31st.
Thank you so much for your help. It is greatly appreciated. Please feel free
to contact me at <TimeTrvlrO(a)aol.com> if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
LaRae Halsey-Brooks
