Hi Elaine and everyone. I am sorry to hear about the recent weather
problems. I have to admit I am fascinated with tornadoes and other weather
related phenomena.
One of my favorite past times is flying stunt kites.
Unfortunately you must have wind to fly them.
I think this storm may be just what Idaho needs to get our Kites flying
again.
I would be willing to help out. I now have over a year of experience with
Utah and believe that I could handle Idaho too.
How hard could it be, the Cc's are the worker bee's.
If everyone can help me out, I am sure we will be fine until someone else
comes along.
I hereby Volunteer.
Do I hear a second.
Sincerely Doug Neibaur

Subject: [IDGEN-L] Sorry, I waited too long
I apologize to all of you. I waited too long. I hoped things would
calm
down at work and I wouldn't have to give up being State Coordinator. So I
put off resigning and now we're in a bind.
Let's see if I can give you an idea of the problems at work. There has
been
a tornado warning out for some time and the wind has been picking up
strength. Then dark storm clouds appeared and brought cold rain. I was so
busy worrying about the rain and the tornado, I never saw the hail coming
until it hit me on the head Thursday. The big kind of hail that flattens
crop and kills small animals. Lightening quickly followed the hail.
Fortunately it wasn't aimed at me. So, I have to clear the decks and
batten
down the hatches. It's going to get nasty. For two cents I'd
follow my
coworkers out the door. Anybody got two cents?
I'm gone. I can't wait until you choose a new Coordinator. My goal for the
next couple of months is survival. If you move your county pages and need
the link from the state updated in the mean time let me know and I'll try
to get to it within the week. Otherwise you're on your own.
Maybe someone would step forward and volunteer and everybody else say
"Aye."
