WOW! Exciting news folks. I just found out (thank you Carmen Johnson!)
that the City of Lewiston has the Normal Hill Cemetery records available
on-line. This is big news, considering there are over 17,000 people buried
at Normal Hill. Researchers will find different options for retrieving the
records -- by first and last name, all records of one surname, marker type,
veteran, etc. This is a big step and I'm excited about this new
development! :)
To access the data base go to:
http://www.lctoday.net/cemetery/default.htm
then click on Cemetery Census.
Also included in the site are some quick facts about the cemetery, photos
(historical and recent), information about the many, many trees within the
cemetery, and a map of the cemetery.
The Nez Perce County website has been updated with this news! YEA!!!!!
Okay, I'm very excited about this...so I'll settle down now.
Kindest Regards,
Dona
