GEORGETOWN - Sidney Brendan Wallentine, 23, passed away on October 2, 2010, at the
home of his grandparents in Georgetown, Idaho. Sidney was born on February 14, 1987, to
Laurinda McConnell and Robert Wallentine in Montpelier, Idaho.
Sid had many interests in many things. He loved the outdoors, he loved trapping,
hunting, fishing and camping and most of all cooking. Sid also loved to shop, he loved
music and also video games. Sid was educated in Bear Lake County, where he finished K-11.
He last cooked at Denny's in Pocatello, Idaho, he also did some odds and ends jobs
including insulating and roofing.
Sid was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he held the
office of a teacher.
Sidney is survived by his mother, Laurinda McConnell (Wade Parr) of Montpelier, Idaho;
his father, Robert Eric and his wife, Lisa Wallentine, of Paris, Idaho; grandparents,
Glenn and Nancy Hunter, Georgetown, Idaho, grandparents, Sterling and Annette Wallentine,
Paris, Idaho; his brothers and sisters, Skylee, Sam, Asia, and Wesley Wallentine of Paris,
Idaho; many aunts and uncles, Kendall and Sonia Ward and family, Paris, Idaho, Blaine
Wallentine and family of Paris, Idaho, Scott and Janet Nelson and family of Paris, Idaho,
Susan and Ezra Farmer and family of Paris, Idaho, Kelly Hunter of Franklin, Idaho, Geneva
Mc-Connell of Oklahoma; as well as many cousins who loved him very much. He was preceded
in death by his grandfather, Samuel Monroe of Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at the Georgetown LDS
Church at noon with a viewing prior to services from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Interment will be in
the Georgetown Cemetery.
